In 1986, Monolithic Membrane 6125® was used as the waterproofing membrane of choice and it proved to be a sound initial investment! Twenty-eight years after the original installation, new owners sought to modify the building and planned a re-roof.

However, after testing the original MM6125® Protected Membrane Roof, a re-roof was not necessary. Tests came back showing little to no sign of wear, moisture penetration, nor decreased performance and protection. Thus, due to the quality and properties of MM6125, the owners unexpectedly avoided a re-roof by being able to tie the building’s modifications back into the original roofing assembly, which resulted in significant savings.
