The Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital (7/27/2020)

The Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital expansion features an expansive 37,500 square foot American Hydrotech waterproofing and vegetated roof assembly over the critical space occupied by the procedural suites.  DuPont Building Solutions Styrofoam extruded polystyrene insulation forms the foundation for the sculpted landscape design.  “This green space will be in view for many of the new 99 private patient rooms and will aid in patient healing.  Penn’s Urban Health Lab has found that access to green views is associated with improved general mental health, reduced mental fatigue, and improved coping with stressful situations.”
