The Decker Student Center is located at the heart of the McDaniel College campus in Westminster, Maryland. Built in 1978, the center has fallen short in recent years of meeting the evolving need of today’s students and the school felt the need to organize a major renovation project.
A collective effort from the design and construction teams helped bring McDaniel College’s vision to life by converting an outdated building into a state-of-the-art facility that reflects the school’s values as a community and helps bring everyone together. The newly renovated student center is home to a Hydrotech Garden Roof(R) Assembly, kept watertight by Monolithic Membrane 6125(R). The green roof features Hydrotech’s InstaGreen(R) Carpet and Custom Powder Coated GardenEdge(R) is used to separate the green areas from the vegetation free zones.
